Who is in
A family business, with the family in it.
Restyle is run by Fabio and Pia with their son Jonathan, in the Revamp Building on the corner of Triq il-Qasam and Triq l-Imgħażel.
Most of what people remember here is not on the menu. It is being recognised on the way in. The same faces behind the same counter, year after year. A coffee that arrives the way you like it, before you ask. You come in for ten minutes and stay for an hour, and nobody minds — being that kind of room is the part this family loves most.
It has never been anything but a family business — not a detail about Restyle, but the whole of it. Jonathan grew up in this room and is still in it. There is no group behind them, no head office, no second branch: just a corner in Is-Swieqi that opens at a quarter past seven in the morning and takes its last orders at half past nine at night, seven days a week. The kitchen leans Italian. The coffee is Marsali, roasting since 1929. Simple ingredients, turned into something you think about on the way home — that is Fabio, doing it again today. The consistency is not a policy. It is the same family, here again.

Some of it. Not all of it.

The room
White shelves, loud tables, hard island light.
Inside is bright and plain so that everything else can be colourful — the tabletops, the cake counter, the wall of Italian bottles. Outside, the terrace holds the winter sun until late afternoon, which is why those tables go first.

Best cafe in the neighbourhood. Like Hotel California — you can check in anytime but you can never leave. I like their high, consistent quality, which is rare… thanks to Danillo and Jonathan.
Owner Fabio, his wife and all the team are exceptional… They turn simple ingredients into an explosion of flavour and memorable taste… so welcoming that we continue to visit on a weekly basis.
Fabio & Pia with their son Jonathan run the most amazing family business… Dani is the star of the show — always cheerful, singing and welcoming customers.
Good Italian coffees, nice selection of snacks… large terrace with a few tables in the winter sun. Cosy inside.
